Jill Brown, owner of Brown (2940 Ferndale), a home-décor store that specializes European and American goods, grew up a long way from Houston. She has been here since 1980, but is originally from a small farm community in Ohio. With her rural roots, it's easy to see where Brown gets her passion for the rustic wares in the store.
